The Nellie, a cruising yawl, swung to her anchor without a flutter of the sails, and was at rest. The flood had made, the wind was nearly calm, and being bound down the river, the only thing for it was to come to and wait for the turn of the tide. The sea-reach of the Thames stretched before us like the beginning of an interminable waterway. In the offing the sea and the sky were welded together without a joint, and in the luminous space the tanned sails of the barges drifting up with the tide seemed to stand still in red clusters of canvas sharply peaked, with gleams of varnished sprits. A haze rested on the low shores that ran out to sea in vanishing flatness.

My subscription runs out in a month, and I have a LOT of half finished journal stuff, so you can expect quite a bit of journal skin spam in the near future! :lol:
(There's always the possibility that half-finished remains half-finished. :XD:)


I have been doodling lately, which is fun. Nothing fancy that I can upload here, but at least I'm back to drawing. :aww:

I could write about how this year has been treating me so far, but then I'd jinx it. :B
I could write about how my studies are, in general, but that's too boring. :giggle:
I could write that I'm about to get a Wacom pentab this week, but then it'd called spoiling the surprise. :woohoo:
I could write about the stupid internship I have to go through, but then I won't stop ranting about it. :D
I could write about the exams I have in a week, but then I'd start freaking out again. :noes:
I could write about something personal, but that would be weird. :shrug:
So, I don't think I have something interesting to write about, do I? :lol:

I have holidays after exams! And then the festival I hate the most - Holi.

Last night (and this morning) I felt like I'd be dead soon. SERIOUSLY (a friend of mine overuses the word, along with exactly and actually :B). Where did all my stamina go?

I have to leave my hostel by June 1st week. Not that I have many bffs here or anything, but I love my room :heart: and I think I am going to miss this stupid place. Weird.

I have been spending loads. :noes: Would somebody teach me how to save? :cry:
